My first article issued: Lessons For U.S: Lawmakers from the European Union’s REACH Program

Many of you do not know that I am writing a part-time PhD at Central European University at the Department of Enviromental Sciences and Policy where my PhD topic is: Interactions between the EU and U.S. chemical legislation.
I am proud to inform you, that my first article (I am a co-author) „Regulating Industrial Chemicals: Lessons For U.S: Lawmakers from the European Union’s REACH Program” was issued last week on Friday through a panel discussion on “TSCA Reform: What are the Lessons from Europe’s Early Experience with REACH?” at The Willard Intercontinental hotel next to the White House in Washington, D.C.
Panelists include:
Wendy Cleland-Hamnett, office director of EPA, Office of Pollution, Prevention, and Toxics
Richard Denison, senior scientist with the Environmental Defense Fund
E. Donald Elliott, professor, Yale Law School, and partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP
Dr. Anna Gergely, director of EHS Regulatory of the international law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP, based in Brussels
Mark A. Greenwood, partner at Ropes & Gray
Neil Hawkins, vice president of Sustainability and Environment, Health & Safety, The Dow Chemical Company
Eva Sandberg, senior scientific officer, European Chemicals Agency, based in Helsinki
About 100 people participated on this panel discussion and everybody got a printed version of our article.
The full article is available through internet from this link:

If you would like a printed version of it, than I can send it to you. The article will be issued in a shorter form in a law journal later on.
The article can be interesting specially for those companies who has plants in the USA, but it could be interesting for European colleagues as well. Please forward it to those people who are interested in this topic.
